My art is my life. I am a self taught artist who has always studied the intricacies of objects. Studying their lines and folds and how grass blades bend in the wind and how bark grows in rows and twists and turns on a tree. I had no idea how those quiet moments in life would affect me later on. I love the feel of paper and how it can bring a piece of art to life through dimension and depth. I spend hours and hours sorting through boxes of what some people see as unloved, unused old hardware and I see life and purpose in it. It brings me great joy to use something someone else sees as piece of old metal but, I see it as angel wings or an ornamental flower center. A touch of the unexpected is what brings a smile to my face and to my clients.
